Stain & Odor Blocking Primers
An all-purpose alkyd (oil-base) primer-sealer that seals porous surfaces, adheres to glossy surfaces and covers most stains. Dries to touch in 1 hour to a flat white that can be top coated in 2 hours. Helps prevent cedar and redwood bleed through. Can be tinted. Clean up with mineral spirits/paint thinner.
An odorless oil base is a powerful interior stain blocker with no lingering odor. Offering traditional oil-base performance, this product is ideal for stain blocking in areas where high odor levels are prohibitive. Blocks severe stains and odors (smoke/fire). Seals pet, nicotine and smoke odors. Bright white and non-yellowing. No lingering odor. Stains: severe smoke and water. Odors: pet, nicotine and smoke. Use on: furniture, woodwork, paneling, wall-paper, masonry, brick and painted metal. Dries to Touch: 30 Minutes - Topcoat: 1 hour.
A flat, white primer for every interior surface, even metal or glass. Closes the pores of most surfaces and prevents bleeding stains, sappy wood from ruining paint job. Covers crayon marks, grease stains, dark wallpaper designs, etc. Made with a base of pure shellac, and dries in 45 minutes. May be applied with brush, roller, or airless sprayer.
When you confront problem surfaces, reach for Peel Stop. It is a clear interior/exterior binding primer that penetrates chalky residues and fills the tiny cracks and gaps under the edges of old paint, literally gluing them down to the surface. Peel Stop prevents further peeling and extends the life of the paint job. Remains flexible and breathable. Dries fast and can be recoated in 2 hours. Use under latex and alkyd primers and paint. Apply with airless spray, brush, or roller. Apply in temperature range of 50 deg. to 90 deg. and humidity below 80\%. Coverage is approximately 300 to 400 sq. ft. per gallon. Do not use Peel Stop in conjunction with linseed oil based products. If stains are present, apply a stain blocking primer after the surface has been prepared with Peel Stop . If mildew is present, use Jomax or other mildew cleaning compound before applying Peel Stop . Easy soap and water clean up.
This is our finest interior latex primer. It assures maximum color and even sheen of all interior enamel topcoats on surfaces that have varying porosity. Use on wood, drywall, plaster, aluminum, and galvanized metal. This is also a quality sealer under wallcovering, fast drying to touch 30 minutes, to sand 2 hours, to recoat 2 hours. Airless spray 2000 P.S.I., tip size 015" to 017". To use on galvanized metal remove any dirt, oils, and contaminants before using.
